I need help in 6th grade organization!!!! please help?
Im in the sixth grade i have been getting very bad grades becuase i cant find my home work in my big binder and becuase i don’t put my homework up or it drops out of my bookbag or i leave it in my locker. I have problems remebering what notebooks to bring to each class i can only go to my locker(which is in the gym) at the beggening of school during lunch and after school. I also have problems on studying and remebering to bring my gym clothes. is there any other way in making all these problems easyer
okay well first of all, it’s sixth grade dont be to woried! you have plenty of time to get better!
In the case of you forgetting your gym clothes (i ALWAYS did that!!) as long as your parents wont flip there lid, write it on your hand!!! it’s always with you and hard to forget. if you cant do that, or you just plain dont notice tell one of your friends to call you sunday night and tell you to put them in your backpack!! if nessescary have them call you friday night to tell you to bring them to the laundry room! dont wait! call them to tell them right now! you must have a good enough friend to call and ask. if you dont want to, (no fear!!) ask your sister or your mom to remind you.
as for your forgotten hw, well im practically the president of that club! keep all your papers in your binder. after they’ve been graded, find a drawer in your room sumwhere, take out all the stuff (make sure too find a place for that junk first!!!) and place your graded papers in there. organize your binder by classes, and leave a special section in the front for “omg!!! must do! dont forget!” and leave all your “to turn in” papers in there. (that saved me!) and when your at home crack open that section, and review whats due the soonest, get that out of the way first and go from there. personally while watching tv is always effective.
as for you not bringing the right notebooks to the right classes, have one composition book (you know those black and white craazy design things? that they sell for a buck each?) for math and english mb history and science if you need them too. there light and they keep all your papers together. write REALLY big i mean REALLY big in big BOLD letters on the cover of each what subject there for and keep them with you at all times. oh and you may want to down grade that BIG binder to a 2 inch you really dont need al those papers do you?
you should be happy to have a locker, even if you can only go to them occasionaly. i dont even have one!
